Kennolyn Camps has been family owned and operated since 1946 as a private, traditional overnight summer camp for boys and girls. Campers experience a sense of belonging, are given the chance to be independent, discover new skills, and meet wonderful friends and role models. We offer one collection of camps with robust programs designed to engage and challenge your child year after year while helping them develop the skills they will need for the rest of their life.
With two California locations we offer a little something for everyone - grades 5-11 on Huntington Lake and grades 1-11 in the Santa Cruz Mountains.

Kids Need Camp NOW More than Ever!
THIS summer offers a rich opportunity for us and our camp families. After all the stress, uncertainty, and limitations that we’re all going through, the camp experience will be even more of a nourishing, fun, appreciated experience than we’ve all had in years. And we’re excited for the opportunity THIS summer provides to celebrate our 75th Summer, reunite with Alumni, and add new campers to the Kennolyn family. So while we have to endure a little delayed gratification, THIS summer will be worth it – all camps are still scheduled for their original dates and locations - we can’t wait to share THIS summer with you.

Kennolyn Camps Huntington Lake is a small, 60 camper, close-knit community for grades 5-11. Our staff know every camper by name and what makes them tick to facilitate relationships and independence. Campers choose activities daily based off of their interest, mood, and developing friendships. A wide range of activities is offered including waterskiing, sailing, flying trapeze, art, cooking, photojournalism, horseback riding, rock climbing, backpacking, sailing, and much more.
Kennolyn Camps Santa Cruz Mountains offers 220 campers grades 1-11 a carefully structured programs to meet the needs of each age group and provide a long term path for growth year after year. With over 40 activities to choose from, campers create their own custom schedule for the session. Activities include board diving, tennis, BMX, fencing, high ropes, animal care, and much more.
Both camps have two Registered Nurses and an on-call doctor to provide an extra layer of support physically and emotionally. Our well-trained staff provide the fun and engagement campers crave and the supervision parents expect.

Kennolyn Camps Huntington Lake is just 45 miles south of Yosemite in the heart of the Sierra Nevadas. Our cozy lodge, quiet alpine lake, and miles of trails accessible from our back door give campers the option to set their own pace and take advantage of what suits them. Chartered bus transportation from LA, Fresno, and the SF Bay Area make camp accessible from all over California.
Kennolyn Camps Santa Cruz Mountains is 90 miles from San Francisco tucked away on 450 acres of private redwood forest just a few miles from the beach. Complimentary shuttle service from San Francisco and San Jose airports help campers from across the United States and the world join in on the fun!
